Prepare for Marketplace – Permission Setting
Early December will bring a new option within Banno Admin for Marketplace. While the opportunities to self-service solutions will continue to grow within Marketplace, you'll want to be prepared to execute the first item up, the Tap2Local Revenue Share Agreement.
As a precursor to taking advantage of self-service offerings via the Marketplace, you’ll want to first ensure that you have assigned the soon-to-be-released Can Modify Contract permission to a group in Banno Admin. This permission will enable any of your team to execute a contract as presented in Marketplace, so we recommend conscious consideration for which groups this permission is enabled for.
To assign the necessary permission (once it’s released), open Users & Groups in Banno Admin, select the appropriate group, scroll to the People permissions, and select the Can Modify Contract checkbox.
