Add and Manage Product Catalog Within Tap2Local
We're excited to introduce the Product Catalog for Tap2Local, a major update arriving in early February with Banno Mobile 3.31. This update will transform Tap2Local from a simple keypad terminal into a robust, full-featured point-of-sale solution.
Tap2Local merchants can build and manage their inventory directly within the app, even adding products with custom names, categories, images, and “modifiers” (like sizes or add-ons) to suit specific business needs.
The new catalog will integrate seamlessly into the checkout flow via a dedicated Catalog tab. Your merchants’ customers can simply tap products to add them to their cart, or they can mix-and-match items with manual keypad entries for total flexibility. With this release, your business owners will benefit from detailed line items and a clear breakdown of every transaction, ensuring that every sale is a fast and transparent experience.
Once released, this feature will automatically be enabled for all financial institutions that are live with Tap2Local; no additional contract or support ticket is required.
