Tap2Local: Ever-Evolving
By now, you’re well aware that Tap2Local is the modern, cloud-based payment solution that’s leveling the playing field with specialized fintechs by letting the merchants you serve accept debit and credit card payments right there – in real time! – on their iOS or Android devices.
With this industry-changer now widely available, you may be thinking, “Tap2Local is a solid solution that won’t change much over time,” right? Not by a long shot. Tap2Local is too crucial to your finanical institution’s future for Jack Henry to rest on our laurels. Instead, we’re continually examining new ways that Tap2Local can meet the needs of your small-to-medium sized businesses (SMBs).
The following features and enhancements are either available now or in Building status:
- In-app education during enrollment: Live now, this enhancement ensures that merchants immediately recognize the functionality – and full power – of Tap2Local.
- Add Google Pay support through payment links: Live now, merchants can add Google Pay as a native wallet for Tap2Local payment links, giving Android users a simple, single-tap checkout experience!
- Add notifications & notification settings: Soon, merchants can track crucial business activities in real time with new, customizable alerting options.
- Payee-defined amount for payment links: Soon, businesses and nonprofits can share a payment link or QR code that lets the payer set the price, making Tap2Local the perfect payment solution for fundraising!
- Create and manage recurring payments and subscriptions: This update will let merchants store payment methods at the customer level, so they can automate billing schedules and skip the tedious task of entering card details for every transaction. This will be a seamless addition to the Tap2Local Invoices feature!
