A Message From Our Team
Happy October! 🎃 Fall into our latest batch of updates designed to make managing your financial institution even smoother. This month, we're excited to highlight new features for the Banno Support app case queue, seamless browser-based key generation for developers, the launch of our new Origination Pilot & Beta Hub for lending and deposits, and so much more. Dive in below to see what's new!
Tap2Local.com Now Live!
As noted in the SLA sent earlier today (Sept. 30) to all Banno institutions, this month we launched Tap2Local.com. The new website is designed specifically for Tap2Local merchants, including prospective small businesses and sole proprietors interested in learning more about the solution.
The site provides an overview of Tap2Local’s key features and benefits, explains how the solution works, shows merchants where to access Tap2Local within your financial institution’s banking app, and answers frequently asked questions.
Coming soon, the website will feature use cases for common business types, and we’re adding a search tool that will help prospective users identify participating banks and credit unions that offer Tap2Local.
Check out more details below.
Increasing Adoption via the Search Directory
To ensure that your bank or credit union benefits from the adoption-driving institution search feature, simply enable Tap2Local and we’ll take it from there! If your institution already offers Tap2Local, you’re all set. Jack Henry will continually manage this search directory, which will consist of all banks and credit unions that have enabled Tap2Local.
Opting Out of the Search Directory
If you’d rather be excluded from the upcoming institution search feature, you can opt out. Just open Marketplace in Banno Admin and click Learn more under the Tap2Local.com Institution Availability Opt Out heading to complete your request. Once received, we will exclude you from the site.
Opt-Out Deadline: If opting out, please complete this process by October 30, ahead of our targeted November 3 go-live date for the institution search feature.
Choosing Wisely
Before deciding whether to include your bank or credit union in the institution search directory, we encourage you get familiar with Tap2Local.com. We believe an award-winning payments solution like Tap2Local deserves an award-worthy showcase – and the Jack Henry Marketing team crafted an intuitive, compelling experience that’s sure to motivate even more merchants into trying Tap2Local.
